概要
爆弾を搭載した小型ドローンが、顔認識技術を駆使して痕跡を残さない大量殺人を繰り広げます。自律型兵器、通称「殺人ロボット」の禁止を訴える研究者らが、そんな未来に警鐘を鳴らす短編映画「Slaughterbots」を制作しました。
AIの研究者達は数年も前からこうした事態を懸念して、自律型兵器の禁止を訴えてきました。いずれテロ集団がドローンを入手して、大量殺戮に利用する可能性もあると警告しています。
